NZCER marking is a website that allows schools to enter and analyse data from PAT: Reading (Comprehension and Vocabulary), PAT: Mathematics, PAT: Listening Comprehension, Science: Thinking with Evidence and STAR.
The website is password protected. Using a special administrator's account, schools can set up accounts for teachers, add or edit data as needed, produce reports and download data in a form suitable for most spreadsheet programs.
Schools can choose to test students via paper or online assessments. With online assessments, data and reports are able to be viewed on the site as soon as a student completes and submits their assessment. With paper testing, schools have the option to enter data from answer sheets themselves or pay NZCER to have answer sheets machine marked and data will then be uploaded to the website.
