Dear Literacy Leader,
Thank you for registering for ALL Junior Literacy data collection. In this email we will:
- Explain what data we will be collecting as part of the ALL project
- Provide details of key dates for data collection.
Numbers of students
If it is your school’s first year of participation in the ALL intervention you will submit data for each student involved (6-8 students).
If it is your school’s second year of participation in the ALL intervention you will submit the data from 2-5 teachers (select 3 students at random from each teacher’s ALL group).
If it is your school’s third year of participation in the ALL intervention you will submit the data from 6 or more teachers (select 3 students at random from each teacher’s ALL group).
Include the NSN numbers of all students involved.
We will be collecting:
- OTJs for students at 40 weeks and at 80 weeks
- Observation Survey results (including Running Records) before and after your intervention (see attached spreadsheet).
As the literacy leader it is your responsibility to ensure your school has submitted the correct data by set dates. You will be supported by your SIT and mentors in this process.
Please enter your student demographic and assessment data onto the spreadsheet attached to this email and submit this to NZCER (using the link below) at the following time points:
- Before the intervention (by 08/07/16)
OTJ at 40 weeks and before intervention Observation Survey results
