  • How can I subscribe to assessments?

Once you are logged in as an Admin user, you can click on the 'Tools' heading on the left-hand side of your screen. You will see all our products that you can subscribe to. If you click the double arrows on the right-hand side of the 'Assessments' heading, the box will drop down and show you the PAT subjects that your school can subscribe to. On the right-hand side of each subject, you can click the 'Subscribe' green button for each subject.



  • Can teachers subscribe for assessments?

No, only an Admin can view the Tools screen and subscribe for assessments. The Admin of an organisation can subscribe for PAT assessments and other products under the Tools section.


  • What are the subscription, subject and survey fees?

There have been no changes to our assessment pricing structure for 2021. With a base subscription and per assessment product fees for the calendar year. Alongside the free, Ministry of Education Wellbeing@School and Inclusive Practices Toolkits we continue to offer our Science engagement and Taku Reo surveys.

  • How can I create assessments within Assist?

Assessments can be created in bulk by doing an SMS upload or manually by Admins and teachers. You need to make your subscription choices before being able to create assessments for the selected products. 


To manually create assessments within Assist, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Click on the dashboard which shows all the subscribed assessments and surveys for the current calendar year.

Step 2: Click on the assessment under which you want to create an assessment (let's say you want to create an assessment under PAT: Mathematics)

Step 3: Click on Create Assessments

Step 4: Enter the details by selecting the type of test (eg: Maths Adaptive Test), name of the test, period, start and end date.

Step 5: Click create

Your assessment will be created and now you can add learners within the assessments
